Founded in 2004 out of passion and necessity rather than solely for profit or novelty, Patta established itself as a pivotal player in the Dutch streetwear scene. Located in the heart of Amsterdam, the store quickly garnered attention by introducing innovative concepts and fresh energy to the local market. Demonstrating a strong DIY ethos, the team traveled globally to acquire rare sneakers and apparel, bringing these exclusive items back to the Netherlands.

Following its opening, the brand’s distinctive logo was utilized to produce a limited run of T-shirts for friends, family, and dedicated customers. The high demand for these items prompted the production of additional units, ultimately leading to the development of an in-house brand. Over time, Patta has collaborated with notable entities such as ASICS, Nike, and Levi’s, and has engaged in special projects with artists including Dana Lixenberg, Conway & Alchemist, Thijs Kauffmann, among others. These collaborations exemplify the brand’s genuine cultural engagement and curiosity.
